Testimonials

“Devlyn helped us design a completely personal and unique wedding liturgy. We had several planning sessions with Devlyn where they got know us both as individuals and as a couple to help us build a wedding ceremony that reflected our personalities and religious beliefs. This was no small task since my wife is atheist and I am protestant and we wanted a ceremony that would honor both of our beliefs as well as the beliefs of our Jewish friends and family. Devlyn’s unique and intimate process helped us grow as a couple and we became closer as a result. We were thrilled with how beautifully performed our ceremony was – it was truly a magical day filled with love, light, and harmony.”

“I knew from the beginning that I wanted Devlyn to be the officiant of my wedding ceremony.  I didn’t have a partner then but through prayer, intention and trust in the power of love my beloved came into my life.  This year I had the honor of Devlyn marrying me and my husband.  We had the ceremony exactly as I had dreamed it, a nice earth based ceremony on the beach.  It was beautiful and I feel so blessed”.

“We couldn’t be more satisfied that Devlyn officiated our wedding.  While there were so many things that went really well on our special day (aside from marrying each other), Devlyn solemnizing and helping us through the process has made the ceremony extra special.  We are a non-religious couple, and they made sure that the whole thing was more spiritual and about gathering of loved ones to celebrate our union as husband and wife”.

Emily and I got married in kind of a rush and we wanted to keep it a very simple ceremony with none of the traditional exchanges or vows. Devlyn was amazingly helpful and accommodating in suggesting alternative language we could use and also helped us put together the plan for the whole ceremony. They helped make it the unique and intimate occasion we wanted it to be, while also keeping it low-key. We couldn’t have been happier!”.

Rev. Devlyn did a beautiful job helping us create an interfaith ceremony (Jewish and Catholic), honoring both traditions at one of our favorite places, a retreat on the North Carolina beach. My only regret is that we didn’t get a nicer picture of them giving the benediction under the chuppah!”
